For this spa-inspired bathroom, our intent was to cultivate a profound sense of tranquility by blurring the boundaries between the interior sanctuary and the private exterior garden. We established a strong material dichotomy, juxtaposing the brutalist elegance of expansive, monolithic grey stone surfaces with a continuous wrap of warm timber slats that canopies the freestanding bathing zone. The integration of minimalist matte black fixtures, a frameless glass shower enclosure, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors results in a grounded, biophilic retreat that feels both expansive and intimately connected to nature.
